Inclusivity and Nervous Patient Appointments

Throughout my professional career, I have predominantly worked within substance misuse and mental health services as a trauma-informed practitioner. Working alongside those with additional needs, who have experienced trauma, or who are particularly anxious is something that comes naturally to me.

Some of the patients I work with are neurodivergent, have experienced complex trauma, or PTSD and/or OCD. I work in partnership with my patients to understand their needs, concerns and to provide them with a safe and welcoming space for their treatments.

I offer longer appointments as standard - no conveyor belt here, just person-centred care!

โ€˜It was my first time getting any aesthetic procedure, and Iโ€™m someone who hates needles, often passes out and is generally in a state of panic with anything new. Sophie was wonderful, made me feel comfortable and at ease and didnโ€™t make me feel stupid for asking what happens if Iโ€™m allergic or pass out etc etc. Will definitely be going back and recommending her to friends, if your nervous I canโ€™t recommend Sophie enough! Thanks Sophie!โ€™
